Floor WC and Bidets

[WC with frontal opening for elderly and disable people]

A toilet for disable and elderly people is designed to allow the person with reduced mobility to use the toilet with the greatest possible comfort. The use of the toilet is a daily practice repeated several times a day and is one of the most important components in the design of an assisted bathroom.

In an Italian disabled toilet, the toilet axis must be positioned at a minimum distance of 140 cm from the left side wall and at a minimum distance of 40 cm from the right side wall. The toilet must have a seat height of 45/50 cm from the floor and must protrude 75/80 cm from the wall.

There are a number of aids and accessories that can be matched with a toilet for disabled and elderly people, such as a hand shower for a bidet function or a higher toilet seats that make the toilet higher and therefore more practical for people with difficulties in movements.
